Completely decadent cookies!


(12 cookies)



1/2 cup           Salted butter, softened

1/2 cup           Packed brown sugar

1                         Egg

Zest of an orange

1/4 cup           Sliced ​​almonds

1 tsp.                Baking powder

1/2 tsp.           Baking soda

1 1/2 cup       Unbleached flour

1/2 cup           White chocolate chips
1/2 cup           Coarsely chopped Nutra-Fruit Maraschino Cranberries



Preheat oven to 350 F & put parchment paper on a cookie sheet.

In a large bowl, cream the butter and brown sugar then add the egg and beat until smooth.

Add the orange zest.

In another bowl combine the flour, baking soda and baking powder. Add the almonds, chocolate chips and mix. At the very end, add the coarsely chopped maraschino cranberries.

Spread by spoonfuls on the baking sheet.

Add 1 or 2 whole maraschino cranberries to each cookie.

COOKING: 15 to 20 minutes.

Suggestion: Prepare an extra recipe rolled in plastic wrap and put it in the freezer.

When you have a sweet tooth, simply cut 2 cm rounds and place them on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper. Good tasting!





Vegan alternative at the bottom of the recipe!


For a vegan version: replace the butter with vegetable butter,  the egg per 1 tbsp. tablespoon of chia seeds diluted in 1 tbsp. tablespoon of water. Substitute 70% cocoa dark chocolate for the white chocolate chips.
