SPRING ROLLS
ASIAN SESAME


 

INGREDIENTS

4         Rice paper

2         Carrots, julienned

1          Julienned cucumber

1          _ Red pepper, julienned

Fresh coriander

1/2 cup      Rice vermicelli

Meat preparation

1          Filet de pork, thinly sliced

roasted sesame seeds

1 C. at table Asian Sesame Dressing, Nutra-Fruit  

1/2       Lime juice

peppercorns and fleur de sel 

Asian Sauce

1 C. à table      Vinaigrette Sésame Asiatique, Nutra-Fruit  

1/2          Jus de lime

 2 c. à table    Crunchy peanut butter

1 C. à table      Water

roasted sesame seeds

 

  

Makes 4 rolls

PREPARATION

Meat

Cut the pork tenderloin into thin slices. 

In a wok over high heat, brown the meat in the oil.

Add theNutra-Fruit Asian Sesame Dressinghalfway through cooking season with salt and pepper and finish cooking. To book

Vegetables

Cut the cucumber, red pepper and carrots into juliennes. Chop the cilantro. Cook the rice vermicelli in boiling water. To book.

 

Asian sesame sauce

In a saucepan, melt the crunchy peanut butter, without cooking it.  Add the lime juice, water and Asian sesame dressing. Place in a presentation bowl.  

Assembly of the rollers

In a deep plate filled with hot water, dip one sheet of rice at a time for a few seconds or until softened. Remove from water.

Drain and place on a plastic board.

Arrange vermicelli, carrots, peppers and cucumbers. Add cilantro.

Fold the sides towards the center.

Roll up tightly and cut diagonally in half. 

Dip the rolls in the Asian sesame sauce.
